Fall colors and driftwood along the edge of Monocle Lake (just off the shore of Lake Superior, outside of Bay Mills Indian Community, near Sault Ste Marie). I found this and then had to kill 15 minutes or something waiting for the sun to come up and light it well. The real life effect mostly came through here, but not totally. There is a kind of spectrum, ranging from dark red at left, on through orange, then yellow, then on into pale green as it goes to the right, coincidentally running parallel to the dead tree. It was strikingly obvious in real life. Not quite so much here. Another view of the same thing.
