*Grin* Another kind of stupid one. The little tree in the center of the picture? I spent Christmas out snowshoeing. Best Christmas I've ever had. It snowed a lot, and was quiet. I took along a string of battery-operated LED Christmas lights, with the intent that they'd make nice nightlights or some such in the camp. They did, but on a spurious whim I murdured(cut off) this little tree,* brought it along from the walk in, and stuck it here in the snow with the lights on it. Unfortunately, I did not think to disable the flash, so the lights do not show in the least, despite it being totally pitch black at the time. Damn. Would have been a neat effect for them to have been shining from underneat the coat of snow.

*note to tree huggers: I cut it off from along side a road. This year, the roadside was bulldozed in that area for logging operations. To some extent, trees are weeds in this vicinity. :-)
