Yet Another Flood Picture. (YAFP).
Yeah, that bit of white here and there, including at the bottom center and middle left, is snow. Snow feels nice on your feet when it is hot out.

Notice that even that this point, not even a mile from the swamp of origin, the water already has that orange-brown color to it that all the rivers have. This is where they get it.

It was actually not possible to cross the road to the left side of the picture without swimming. It was over my head on the far edge. Well, I didn't actually try it, nor can the bottom be seen that far in the tannin-stained water, but from poking long sticks into it, this was apparent. I tried a month later in this particular spot and it was still up to at least my armpits. It was mostly gone by June, though.
