Looking straight up into the top of a jack pine into the clear morning sky, which is that blue that only comes with the clarity of a good subzero morning. Even as I was taking this picture, unseen are sporadic snowsquall clouds that came in from the northwest and show up in the rest of the day's pictures, usually dimming the light somewhat. You may note in the rest of the pictures from this day that the light varies from cloudy to almost sunny as patches of snowsquall move through.
